To support new and current pet owners in caring for their pets, the CareCo app offers fun and easily digestible resources, helping owners feel more confident and comfortable in pet care.

Problem

Many pets end up abandoned and returned to shelters because individuals often underestimate the responsibilities of pet ownership and make impulsive decisions when purchasing or adopting them.

Solution

To educate and provide resources to prevent the mistreatment and abandonment of pets.

Empathy Interviews

We conducted interviews to gain insights into the firsthand experiences of our participants regarding their neurodivergent  difficulties and sources of comfort.

User Journey Map

We also developed journey maps to identify potential pain points in their daily routines, aiming to discover possible solutions that can enhance the current situation

How Might We

Feature 1: AR Setup Simulator

The AR Simulator helps new pets owners to measure outthe space, so they can visualize the pet supply items in their home.

Feature 2: Virtual Pet Adoption Game

We also developed journey maps to identify potential pain points in their daily routines, aiming to discover possible solutions that can enhance the current situation

Feature 3: AI Chatbot

Cora, our AI chatbot, lessen the stress of worried owners by giving a brief diagnosis based on photos and videos of their sick pet.

Results

We developed an interactive and engaging approach to educate pet owners on effective pet care, alleviating stress for both new and experienced pet owners.
